Meet the team
I’m Heather Summers Parsons, a veteran fundraising professional, and I help organizations like yours maximize their development work and achieve their missions and goals.
TOP BANANA AND FEARLESS LEADER
With more than 20 years of experience raising money for local and state non-profit organizations, I’ve done almost everything, from running annual campaigns and directing special events to creating annual development plans and soliciting corporate sponsorships.
I’ve also spent more than 15 years working with non-profit executives and their board members to demystify fundraising and empower them to raise funds for their passions. My philosophy is if you can make friends, you can raise money for your organization.

FLORA, CHIEF CLIENT RELATIONS OFFICER
Flora Parsons joins Heather on most Zoom calls, Google Meets and phone calls to provide an energy boost and welcome distraction.
She brings to the team more than six years of experience being an indoor cat after spending the first three years of her life as a feral cat. Clients are welcome to tell her how pretty she is or how much they like seeing her when she drops in.
Mindy Parsons works in the back office, making sure Flora stays in line and waterboarding her grey power mice. She is very shy unless she takes her Gabapentin, which empowers her to open doors (literally!) and terrorize her sisters. Her nickname is Bunny because she has thick, soft fur, which can be troublesome in the hot Central Texas summers.
MINDY, CHIEF FELINE OFFICER (CFO)
MACY, CHIEF CLIENT RELATIONS OFFICER, Emeritus
Macy Parsons served as Chief Client Relations Officer until her retirement in 2021, which was precipitated by an unfortunate incident in which she accidentally hung up on a client during a call. She still makes her presence known to clients during Zoom calls, Google meets and phone calls with high-volume howls and caterwauls. After spending the first five months of her life starving and living on the streets, she enjoys daily full bellies, multiple naps and cuddles with her people.
